Giles Followers----something to think about

Thankyou for your service Advocate and so glad you made it back home.
It was an honor defending this country. Memories that will never go away just as the state championship season last year and and possibly this year. Been there every bit of the way. I only missed the Nelson game in two years. Gonna miss this state game Saturday due to prior engagements. I will be streaming it though.

Again thankyou so much my son inlaw was over there with you in the marines. I have only missed one game in 3 years and that was the game played on a sat due to storms. I have watched these boys play together from the time they were playing rec ball as varsity while my youngest was cheerleading.

Neal Mustard runs the defense, he is from Giles. Jeremy Haymore runs the O, he graduated from SR and used to coach Appo.
I was talking about Neal. I'm interested to see how SR runs the wing and how it compares to Giles. I've heard they have several stud running backs. Our best years have been when we had a tailback who could throw when we needed to, like Cook in 2005 and Milton in 93. In 93 we opened the game at Blacksburg with a pass and threw 25 times. I thought I'd somehow gotten to the wrong game. At that time we always ran off right tackle for first play and Coach Ragsdale would keep running it until the defense stopped it. If you can't throw enough to keep the D honest they put 9 in the box and you can't block everybody.
