It was going to be a tough game anyway, but this is the last thing Giles needed. I'm hoping for good fan turnout and the team is well prepared. Radford is no joke this year. The faster track being field turf will greatly benefit Radford. This may be a tough game for Giles.
Agreed. We can't afford to take any game for granted this year. The only game I'm fairly confident about is Alleghany because they are really that bad.I'm hearing Radford is very good this year. Giles has been dealt many blows to its team. They had 8 players, many of them starters on the sideline not dressed for the Floyd game. In a year where the talent level is much lower than normal they could not afford injuries but they have happened big time. Not making excuses for the Spartans, these young men have worked so hard this year. My original prediction at the start of the season was 7-3 and that seems in jeopardy now. I can see potential losses to Radford, James River, and Glenvar which would put them at 6-4 for the season. I think a winning record for this team would be a success.
Nothing to worry about. Radford is average team at best. It's not a knock on them at all it's just the truth. As much as it pains me to say Giles is just that bad. It could be the worst offensive line in Giles history and injuries and suspended players did not help matters last night. Head coach said it best in paper this morning. Until this team plays as a team and stops thinking it's about individuals, my guess is Giles might win one more game this year. I'm still holding on to faith they can turn it around. I love them, no matter what.I said early on that Radford was the team I was most concerned about against Glenvar. This is playing out pretty much to a showdown between Radford and Glenvar.
How bout that Radford crowd last night. You think they all came in the same van?Nothing to worry about. Radford is average team at best. It's not a knock on them at all it's just the truth.
