Central-Wise starting to pull away from John Marshall in the VHSL Class 2 Girls Hoops State Finals, thanks to 3's from Abbie Jordan and scoring machine Emmah McAmis (who came in with 2176 points in her career & had 16 at the half). Mixed in a nice post finish by Madison Looney.

Even with those turnovers, she is still the best player on the court, by far.
Wise is really taking it to Team Loaded Ladies
Once again, I think it's the district/region/competition that prepares Wise-Central every year for this time of the season.
Also, a very talented group of young ladies and a hall of fame coach doesn't hurt.

But how tough were those teams in comparison to the teams Wise plays?

The West is much stronger than the east. Seems it has been that way the past 10 or 12 years.

Year in - year out - competition prepares any teams out of SWVa for the state tournament.
They didn’t play like they were loaded today. Wise took it to them! They really had no answer for McAmis. Wise dominated all aspects of the game.
The Mountain 7 District is a war every single night. Wise, Gate City, Ridgeview, etc. The West plays more fundamentally sound basketball and it shows.
Wise-Central won state last week, when they beat Ridge view.
