In Penn Laird for another night of basketball as @PageCountyHS (24-3) prepares to takes on @girlsbball_rams (21-6) in the Region 2B girls basketball championship. Panthers have won 12 straight and 20 of 21 coming into tonight. Rams, meanwhile, are on a 10-game winning streak.

The winner of tonight's game will "host" Maggie Walker on Friday in the Class 2 state quarterfinals. Loser will travel to Greensville — the Region 2A champion — that same evening.

End of 1Q: Page County 6, Strasburg 5. These are two teams that have no problem playing a grind-it-out style of basketball and it shows here early with both offenses (or lack thereof).

Congrats to the girls basketball team on their Region 2B Championship win 50-45 over Page Co.

They will play Maggie Walker Friday at 7 pm at Stonewall Jackson in the State QF
