Glenvar 19-7 11:47 4Q

Any way to change your thread title to reflect the current score? Instead of it saying 7-0

End of 1st tied at 7. Atmosphere here is great! Loving the Glenvar band imitating the train horn

Horrible holding call on Giles on screen pass for 1st down. Other than that been okay.

So far...it's a good one...rewards would agree...I think.......atmosphere is what it's supposed to be...

Down here in front of the Spartans trailer on the track in a gray beanie if anyone wants to drop by! Already met one person but got to cold and had to cover up all my Wilson gear

Horrible personal foul call against Giles. Looks like every time Giles breaks a play the yellow flag comes out...

Giles forces huge turnover at Glenvar 25. Goes backwards. Punting with 2:05 left in 3Q

Glenvar snaps ball to start 3Q and runs for TD run. Ref never started play clock....

Glenvar just controlling the line of scrimmage. Stacking the right side of the line and Giles continues to try and make it work.

Great game plan by Glenvar. Several questionable calls but outside of opening kickoff Glenvar controlled the game.

Heading out with 9:00 to go. Had a good time

Gotta disagree with you Trevor. White hat blew ball ready for play. Giles was slow getting set up and you could see what was going to happen. Don't know why we didn't call time out. I didn't understand our wasting 25 seconds at the end of the first half and had no clue why we completely gave up on the run in the 2nd half. Not impressed with our second half coaching but we had to play a perfect game to win and didn't come close to that. Other than maybe one call I didn't have any issues with the officiating.

Don't really matter if Giles lost you can bet the refs cheated....lol.....that is 3 losses in 2 nights
I had no issues with the officials. The one dead ball PF was close but I could see why he called it. There may have been a hold or two on either side that was missed or suspect but I doubt there is ever a game played when you couldn't say that. Glenvar defense won the game and Clifford and Stigall made plays when they needed to.

Refs usually wait till both teams are over the ball to start the quarter though...but they blew it ...and a second later the ball was snapped. ..thought it was a little freaky but it happens...we were beat mentally by then...just took a turnover and did nothing with it...

Agree with the mentally part. After getting the ball at the Glenvar 25 and going backwards, you could see the defeat in the Giles players. Their entire demeanor changed.

Met some good people and really enjoyed the game. Really enjoyed the Glenvar band mocking the train horn lol. Also enjoyed all the folks we met at All Sports Cafe!
