My wife was born in Bluefield, WV. Beautiful place! They sure do care about football down there...By the sound of your grammar, you must be from the West Virginia side of Bluefield 🤣🤣🤣
Oh im sure they do and I know it's a beautiful place. I was just busting his chops 😆My wife was born in Bluefield, WV. Beautiful place! They sure do care about football down there...
I agree. No question about it. One thing to keep in mind though, that poster is one fan of one team and one fan never represents the "mindset" of the team (players and coaches). I feel confident that Graham, Union, Glenvar, and whatever he identified Poquoson as, are all dialed in and focused and the only thing they are focused on is the very next game. Same for every other team. The team that will win will be the one that keeps a cool tool and listens to its coaches and prepares intelligently for each game and then goes out and executes its game plan. All this preliminary bragging and chest-pounding is sometimes counter-productive and can bring a team down to earth faster than anything.
I think there has to be a little bit of luck factored in also. Schools this size can't afford to have injuries to key players, because there aren't a lot of quality backups to choose from, usually. I think teams that execute better have an advantage too. Penalties will send you home this time of the yearI agree. No question about it. It's hard to know the mindset of every team, but I'm guessing all of those at the top know and believe (surely the coaches do) that there are about 8 to 10 teams this year that can win a state title and the coaches and deep down, even the players know it's wide open.
