They are physical just can't match Graham. You can tell that we are young in the positions that need the strength. Regardless I am proud of the Young Rams. You get beat in life. It matters how you respond

I said all year that the two most physical teams i had seen were Graham and Union. Their first game was a war. Graham won by 21 in the second game, but it was hard fought. Not saying Union would have beaten Glenvar, but they'd have earned it.

Difference in game was what I eluded to earlier in the week. Phonebooth football played in the Class 1 East and Class 2 East. That's NOT a bad thing either, but the problem presents when you play a team that spreads the field and forces you to cover in space. So many teams in the East just see it very little in the season. When Strasburg lined up man on man against Graham with only 1 safety over the top when Graham was 5 wide on the first play of the football game, I said this game is Likely over. When Strasburg did it again and lined up the same way on Grahams second offensive series after Graham leading 7-0, I said this game IS over. Graham had kids running wide open.

This is the difference with Riverheads in Class 1 and Class 2. They can get away with run and defend the run because few to any Class 1 teams are Truly spreading the field, but you see where it catches them in Class 2 against Radford last year who spread the field and forced them to cover in space. Everything changes with the matchups.

It's all about matchups and Strasburg was playing against and elite run defense and Strasburgs only question mark coming in was their ability to cover in space. The matchup was a nightmare. Graham is a machine guys. A class 2 team with Class 4 talent.
