On a turf field against a team with superior speed. Of course Giles would be better off on a wet rainy field. No doubt about it.You think Giles is going to turn down a chance to play in the dry compared to possibly in the rain while running the single wing? Think about this for a second.
They did the same thing against Tazewell a few weeks ago. Agreed to play on a nice dry field knowing that Tazewell is a pass heavy team. Why wouldn't they want to play Tazewell on a cold, rainy, breezy night???? It's not a school night for Giles. Their school calendar shows being closed for Veteran's Day on Friday. It's over a 2 hour road trip for Giles on a school night.
Thanks. Was not aware. Still a long trip on a work night, for us older folks. Just don't see the necessity for the change, on 1 days noticeIt's not a school night for Giles. Their school calendar shows being closed for Veteran's Day on Friday.

This is the exact reasonAnyone in the know have the reasoning for the change? It is rather odd unless they feel they can dispatch of Giles easily then go scout next opponent on Friday in the forecasted dry weather...... oh that's probably not it either
