Any Thoughts? I wanted to ask Fairlawn what you think after seeing Radford play both teams?
Anyone feel free to chime in..

2 best QBs in class 2 is a highly questionable statement . There were 2 VHSL record setters in region D this year.I wish VHSL would change playoff format. Go back to format used in 2011. Current format results in too many rematches in playoffs from regular season, and playing mostly the same teams in playoffs every season.
As for Gretna vs Glenvar, it will be a battle of the 2 best QBs in Class 2. Whoever plays best pass defense should win.
You beat me to it! They may be the two best left in the playoffs but I don’t think I can get on board with two best in Class 2A.2 best QBs in class 2 is a highly questionable statement . There were 2 VHSL record setters in region D this year.
Yes, a format change! I hate all these regular season rematches! I can’t say I necessarily agree with the two best QBs in Class 2, maybe two best left in playoffs.I wish VHSL would change playoff format. Go back to format used in 2011. Yeah, hard to find anybody to top Creasy, O' Quinn and Reese. You beat me to it! They may be the two best left in the playoffs but I don’t think I can get on board with two best in Class 2A.
Yea I just finished watching the Radford Gretna game, I feel disappointed for Radford myself. If Gretna gives Glenvar 1/3rd of the opportunities they gave Radford I think Glenvar capitalizes and wins.I dint see Gretna doing much with Glenvar this year. Gretna has 1 win against a winning team and that was last night against Radford and they barely squeaked by. I say Glenvar wins this fairly easily.
Agree with you totally. Not only were we getting very upset, the players were pointing to play clock and screaming at coaches constantly. Went back and watched and 14 times Gretna offense either had 12 or 10 men on field, had delay of game penalty, had illegal motion because players still trying to get in place but snapped to beat play clock, or play was rushed that caused chaos on play. Now think about that, 14 times coaches couldn't get play in on time. Every punt had to be rushed because can't get punt team on field. Trying to figure out whose not out there with play clock running out. Radford only score was blocked punt and recovered in end zone. Defense played lights out holding Radford's offense scoreless. Logan didn't look as good because coaches decided to run plays and formations never used and they took Logan off his game. You could tell they were having hard time lining up and figuring out what to do with these new schemes. Too late in season to change entire offense. They took lead and got going offensively in second quarter running what got them here. Players played great but coaches put them in some bad positions trying to get plays in. Last year head coach just called defense and offensive coordinator called all plays. Since bringing in defensive coach from EC Glass now head coach and offensive coordinator call plays together and been told they go back and forth over what play to call. One person needs to call plays end of subject. Don't care which one. We support our coaches but are young and need to wisen up quick. Then you have about ten other "coaches" on sidelines. Whose counting players, whose getting punt team ready, etc. Let the offensive and defensive coordinator call the plays and these others need to help with some of the basics. In all honesty without all these coaching blunders Gretna should have won that game by 2-3 tds. But also want to say Radford shot itself in foot few times uncharacteristically. Don't know why but Gretna completely abandoned all plays they starting moving ball with consistently in that second quarter and they were more of our normal plays. Both teams had a lot of drops maybe cold contributed too. After 3 or 4 delay of game or barely getting snap off in a row and having to tell fans to chill you would think they might start trying to do better getting plays in but no it got worse. When players are pointing and jumping up and down over this more times than I can count on my hands, coaches need to address the problem. It's not just the fans getting aggravated. If this happens at Glenvar it want be close. If defense plays normal lights out and coaches clean this up dramatically and run what got you here then could be good game. Shouldn't be having problems like this after 12 games. Ironically on first game of year and first time offense took field they got delay of game trying to get play in. You literally had entire year to call this play. LolEnjoyed game last night loved the Gretna fans they were spot on and hilarious. 1st time I've ever seen a coach yell shut up and chill to fans lol Defense was great...offense was terrible play calls stunk had 12 or 10 men on the field multiple times ran one play with 10 men and nobody noticed in 4th qtr. Had to burn numerous timeouts bc plays weren't getting in quick enough. I agree with the fans I heard saying throw the new playbook in trash and go back to running what works. They didn't let there QB throw the ball much at all. If they don't get offense under control Glenvar will kill them. Hope Gretna wins due to there hilarious and very truthful fan base ...haven't enjoyed a game that much in awhile
Very much so, it’s too late in the season. No wonder the kids were frustrated. Sure put in a few small wrinkles to throw opposing team off but to completely change up the offense come playoff time is crazy! They better go back to what’s been working & what kids know or it will be a long night at Glenvar.Wonder why they changing entire offense all of a sudden that's just insain
