Sorry for the lack of updates damn phone got wet and dropped all signal lol. GW-8 Radford-7 at the half. Both teams can be explosive and have been in brief moments but both seem to be hurting themselves.
Phone crapped out again Raddy scored to make it 14-8 kickoff to GW fumble on our second play. Raddy scores again 2 plays later and get the 2 point conversation to make it GW-8 Radford-22
GW-15 Radford-29 1:22 left in the 4th. GW turns it over on downs at the 20 Raddy does the rest. They scored on the same play 2 times in a row 1st to the left is called back the 2nd to the right counts. I'm headed home fellas we didn't win tonight but I'm glad football is back. Don't sleep on this GW team they will be good and will keep getting better. Congrats to Radford good bunch of kids down that way they will be around come November.
Hate I didn't get to see more of the game but when the rain set in I decided to head home. From the little I seen (basically the 1st qtr) there were 2 pretty good teams on the field. Some sloppy first game stuff going on both sides which is to be expected. Radford looks to have a lot of talent and this is probably the best GW team we've seen is several years. Both will make some noise this year.
I agree both teams are talent loaded and can make deep runs. And as you said 1st game mistakes by both sides hurt both sides GW just made more. Radford has home run hitters at each skill spot don't fall asleep against them they will score. And GW just needs to shake off the layoff and play ball and we'll be fine take this lesson and improve.
