GW girls held off Radford to get the win in their season opener, GW hit two threes to end an ugly 1st quarter with a score of 11-2, Radford hung tight from there on and took their first lead 31-30 with two minutes to play in the 4th, but GW proved to be to much finishing on a 11-4 run to end the game.

Nice win. From the sounds of things Eastside should be a good test for the ( young guns ) lol. Sorry I had to go there. I'm shocked our friend hasn't showed up and recited the FACTS.

Galax girls are off to a great start as well. Brown is shooting very well. Fox is much improved and playing well to.

The Virginia High Tourney will be a good one.
