Danville led 42-17 in the 3rd quarter until the Pioneers made a furious comeback thanks to CJ Rosser's 27 points (5 3-pointers). Westover transfer and senior GW PG Shamar Parker led GW with a big time performance. Parker had 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Junior big man Nyrek Wheeler tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds. Eagles improve to 2-1. Very good win for the young Dirty Birds. Congrats to Coach Parker. Hopefully there will be a deeper run come March this season.
