That's unfortunate. If things hadn't changed Salem and GW would have been week one like it was originally planned.
Dinwiddie isn’t playing GW? So we don’t get Salem or Dinwiddie and had to settle for Staunton River as our 3rd out of district opponent 🫠
GW's varsity schedule is full. The game with Dinwiddie will go on as scheduled.

So this was simply misconstrued that GW expected to Dinwiddie to cancel?
Dinwiddie has a chance to play an out of state game and was looking to be released from their contract to open up the first playing date. It was contingent upon GW being able to find a replacement opponent.
Its our understanding that Dinwiddie was able to find another opponent that was willing to move so there will be no changes to our 23 & 24 schedules. Dinwiddie at GW this August 25th and GW back to Dinwiddie in 24.
