Fairly sloppy game. Hermitage had a bunch of penalties and Varina had quite a few as well. Herm QB was not very sharp, had 5 or 6 passes thrown into the ground, a couple over throws and took a couple sacks when he had time to at least throw the ball away. Hermitage LB Calvin Whitehead had 2 blocked punts, one Herm recovered on Varina's 10 yard line that lead to the games first TD, the second he scooped and scored himself.
Varina's offense did not impress at all. They looked like what Henrico was doing last year (and maybe they still do, have not seen Henrico play this year). They maybe threw 8-10 passes in the game and just put every body near the line and played "guess which guy were are gonna hand off to". Their offense looks to be based solely on misdirection and deception. They also lost 2 fumbles and had 1 or 2 int's
Any one else at the game feel free to add, I'm certainly no expert.
