Boy, that’s a huge difference!! Max preps is useless. I should have known.MaxPreps is about as reliable as a politician or a snake oil salesman. Wait, that was rude of me. I must apologize to the snake oil salesman.
Final score was Dinwiddie 26, Hopewell 14.
Dinwiddie will beat Dale. I’m big mad that Patrick Henry can play that weenie hut junior schedule and make the playoffs. A 5-1 Dinwiddie team definitely deserves a spot more than a 6-0 PH team that’s played nobody. If Dinwiddie can find a path into the 4b playoff race they are a major threat. Still have to beat a tough TD team though as a final hurdle.

Anyone can send a score to maxprepsMax preps has Hopewell winning 50-0? Really? If true we all have a pretty good idea who wins class 3 this year.
If they win out Dinwiddie will not be able to pass them no matter who they beat. Here is my calculations of 4B after last night's games. If Dinwiddie can knock off TD they will still need some help I believe to jump Louisa and/or PH based both should win out and leave Dinwiddie in 5th.

Generals looked good tonight from what I saw (about mid-2ndQ on)... Kelmari Brown is a major threat on the outside at receiver that'll be hard for any secondary to handle. Trey McBride makes a lot of plays, too.
Definitely looks like a dangerous team if they can get in that crowded Region 4B field. Argument can be made that the 5th place team who is left out of that region could certainly win some other regions around the state.
Suffolk schools are not participating in the playoffs.Matt what is the deal with Warrick? Can they make any noise in class 4 A? Are the Suffolk schools participating in the playoffs etc?
They need Powhatan to beat Monacan and then for Powhatan to lose to Midlothian the following week. That is the only path I see right now. Even then, I don't know if they would outpoint a one loss Monacan or not. If Powhatan wins out, would they outpoint Dinwiddie if Dinwiddie wins out? Would be close. If PHA losses to Hanover they might have a shot also. Can you imagine Varina will be in this field next year my god!
From my quick math and guessing on games since I don't really know these teams.
If Both Powhatan and Dinwiddie win out, Powhatan def outpoints Dinwiddie
If Powhatan beats Monacan and loses to Midlo, Monacan outpoints Dinwiddie by 2 and 10 over Powhatan.
If any of King George, Patrick Henry, or Louisa loses, if Dinwiddie wins out they are in.
I only did the 4 undefeated teams and Dinwiddie and Powhatan, so don't know about others. But it appears that Monacan is in with 1 more win, Dinwiddie needs one of the other 3 to lose (unless Powhatan wins out, then would need 2 of them). What hurts Dinwiddie a bit is TD only having 5 games (from what I saw).
Thanks @Gunz41. Yeah, it isn't exactly fair but what is these days? The universe needs to be on your side and sometimes it just isn't. If Dinwiddie doesn't end up making it they will likely be the favorites in B in the fall depending on what Varina looks like. Monacan returns a lot but is losing the starting QB and 3 college level receivers. We have youngins waiting in the wings but they are unproven on the varsity level. Gotta imagine EV will be stronger next year and likely Louisa also. However, Louisa is moving to region D which will be interesting.
