In a surprise move just weeks from the first official practice for the 2019 season, Coach Jared Taylor has stepped down at Huguenot. The sudden move is personal to my understanding as his family relocates to Texas but the sudden move does leave the Falcons in a rough spot so close to the 2019 season.
No word on who will replace him but at this late stage I can only imagine an assistant taking over and after the season the Falcons could search for a permanent replacement.
This is the 11th coaching change in the Richmond Region, the most in the history of the region surpassing 10 changes just two years ago(2017).
