Flint Hill remained undefeated and reach the VISAA State championship by defeating Benedictine 35-21 on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies led 28-0 after three quarters before a couple of late scores by Benedictine made the score respectable.
Quarterback Miles Thompson passed for 231 yards and three touchdowns while adding 106 yards rushing with one touchdown. Running back Jordan Houston added 93 yards on 10 carries while catching two passes for 126 and two touchdowns.
Jaylin Hertz was credited with 16 tackles and senior Jamarian Hawkins had a pick and nine tackles.
