As an official, what options are available to you if a defensive player deliberately shoves the receiver with the obvious intent of preventing him from catching a pass while in the end zone? The question has often been discussed, that if the defender can't prevent the catch for a score otherwise, could he shove the receiver and only receive the normal penalty of 10 yards? Thus preventing the score.
 
There is a provision in the Rules Book for intentional pass interference, which is an additional 15 yards, making it a 30 yard penalty (or up to two half the distance penalties).
 
I thought I remembered that there was additional punishment for this. I just couldn't remember for sure, nor what the outcome was. Thanks.
