Lafayette is D-4? Correct? I watched a couple of games on NFHS for Poquoson and they are impressive. They don't have a lot of bodies on the sideline, but they are a very solid team, good in all aspects of the game. They are one of them. Look great on video. Well coached, athletic, and bigger than what they have been along the line. They are usually small on the line and have great technique to make up for lack of size. They actually have some decent size this year not big, but not as small as the past. They can win a state title. They have the advantage of home field position. They are the Region A first seed and they have already locked up the highest seed over Region B, even if they lose to Lafayette, Region B would travel to Poquoson IF Poquoson gets out of Region A and that's a difficult place to play.
Lafayette will beat Poquoson. Lafayette might end up with 15 wins. They are that good.
Lafayette is Class 3, ranked 2nd in Maxpreps and Calpreps behind LCA. Lafayette can play with LCA. Not saying they win if both get the far, but Lafayette wil have a good shot. My brother in law is a teacher at Poquoson, so I'm a little familiar with them. He said they have their best team since they lost in the semis on the road very close to RE Lee/Staunton which them lost close to Appo. Poquoson is a lot like us at Radford in that they are actually a fairly young football team and return a bunch for next year.Lafayette is D-4? Correct?
