I'd love to try out my Gilliam Ratings on basketball...if anyone knows where I can get a list of scores of VHSL games, let me know.
The main thing I need is a source that is consistent with the names of the schools. It's a lot of work for me if the list regularly uses different names to refer to the same school ("I.C. Norcom" one week becomes "Norcom" the next week, for instance).
The best format for me would be as below (but I could probably make anything work--if you know where I could get a compete list--or a nearly complete list, please let me know):

12/1/14 Hampton 80 Highland Springs 79
12/1/14 Gate City 52 Hidden Valley 34
12/2/14 Greensville 71 Southampton 62
I really wish I could get complete score lists for all the sports. I think I could adapt my formulas for soccer, lacrosse, baseball. softball and maybe even volleyball (if I got individual game scores). I find it hard to believe the VHSL doesn't have a website where schools are required to quickly enter at least the final score of their home games.
The main thing holding me back right now is data. The program is written to do it, I'd just have to make very tiny adjustments for the other team sports.
