Johnny Manziel???? Did I or did I not read that he has died??????

Sometime Sunday afternoon, I could have sworn that I saw that Johnny Football had been killed in a car crash that day in Texas. I even thought I read it on here. But now I am trying every source I can think of (Wikipedia, Yahoo, etc.) and I cannot find any reference to it. In fact, what I DO find is that Monday the 6th will be (or would have been?) his 29th birthday, so maybe that means that whatever I saw was a hoax.

So did I or did I not see that? Goodness knows it is not something that I would have dreamed up out of nowhere.

It was a facebook hoax.

These hoaxes are apparently all too common involving high profile people. Can't figure out what kind of thrill someone would get out of it.

I thought I saw it On here last night I googled it and went on espn nothing! Came back on here it was gone

That is about the same as what happened to me. I was sure I saw it here on the 1-A board but when I went back several hours later it was gone. Then as you said, there was nothing on any of the usual news sources. Weird!!!

It was put on here by the Spammer that's been annoying everyone the last month. I deleted it. For future reference, don't click on questionable links. Could get Spyware, viruses, etc...
