Oh yeah I know it is Ant, if JR had any inside presence it could have been a different game. Glenvar controlled the glass and pretty much had their way inside, I doubt they get the same consideration in their next game.
Martinsville's big man, Jah Nibblet is tough inside. He's a good rebounder and defender. The speed of the Bulldawgs will cause Glenvar some problems. I only wish Martinsville played more of a pressure DEFENSE. My boys will be ready to play tonight. We played a tad sluggish against. Giles in the first half. I think that was due to about a week and a half layoff. The 2nd half was a different story. They were more focused on the task at hand. I'm ready for more action this evening. A real Bulldawgs fan here.
Glenvar's size will be a problem. The Dogs have been outsized in alot of games this year so hopefully they will adapt to Glenvars size advantage. I think Martinsville will be quicker but who knows, at least we won't have to travel tonight. Hope the Dog faithful will come out tonite and give us a true homecourt advantage.
Glenvar's size will only be a problem if we allow it to be a problem. I remember when the Dawgs played Tunstall back in the day; they had 7'0, 6'8 and 6'6 in their front court. Dawgs beat 'em. The Dawgs are known for snatching collars .....and breaking winning streaks..
