On a kickoff the kicking team kicks in the air the kick return never give fair catch. Kicking team catches kick in air, is the kick catch interference? Ball went more then 10 yards.

See answer from FBREF in prior post:

In high school games, no. It's kick catching interference if any member of the kicking team touches a kick in flight before the receiving team touches it. The ball must touch the ground and travel 10 yards before K can touch the ball.

Even if the receiving team is near. And no signal is given?
Ball must hit the ground. Any touching by kicking team before it hits the ground is fair catch interference. The rule has nothing to do with whether any receiver signals fair catch. It's the same as if the kicking team touches a kick before it goes ten yards.

Just to clarify, it's kick catching interference anytime, anywhere, if the kicking team is first to touch a kicked ball in flight on a kick off (free kick). The 10-yard neutral zone means nothing. The proximity of a receiving team member or a fair catch signal are not needed.

Touching a free kick before it goes 10 yards is not a foul if the ball has hit the ground, but it is first touching (this is a violation -- it's handled like a penalty because there are options, but an official marks a spot with a bean bag, not a flag.)
