King and Queen vs King William Canceled

Unfortunate for both teams, hopefully everyone gets back on track quickly. Any other interesting matchups out East this week?
The only other 1A games in the East are Rappahannock vs West Point and Northumberland vs Lancaster. Northampton and Southampton was also canceled for Covid issues
KW any idea on Franklin? Heard they had shut down with Covid issues too but was unsure if they were going come back to play or not
It could be longer. KW and Southampton play next week and both have Covid related issues. I don't know the details for either team, so I can't speak on how long either might be out.
Looks to be that KW may have possibly lost to K&Q this year and been really embarrassed by the small school.
(K&Q is now led by their old KW coach that a few leaders screwed over behind closed doors just last year.)
Then again, maybe it actually was Covid, then again, maybe not....lol

Someone said it was convenient timing and insinuated that KW might have been "avoiding" this game. I watched KW play Franklin and demolish them, up 48-0 at half vs WP (who played KQ tough). KQ has a couple of special players but if you've seen both these teams play, then you know it wouldn't even be close. KW is HUGE in physical size compared to KQ and have way more athletes to match KQ. KW hasn't lost a district game in over a decade and it tends to hurt them come playoff time. I think its a blessing because KQ has a decent team and lessen their chance of injury. Ask Mathews, Mdsx, WP, Charles city how playing KW impacts the rest of their season after playing KW.
I’m very familiar with the KW dynamic within the Tidewater District. There were similar situations when New Kent was in the district a while back. KW’s current head coach was my JV coach at WP back in 97.
K&Q very well could have given KW a game. I don’t think it’s fair to pretend you know otherwise.
