King and Queen freshman Malik Holmes set a new school record last night with 401 yards passing and 5 touchdowns with no interceptions. For the night, he was 16-23, and also added a rushing touchdown. DeAndre Hill led the receiving corps with 186 yards and 3 touchdowns and Dre Berry had 128 yards and 2 touchdowns of his own. Charles Mills led the ground attack with 116 yards on 12 carries. The Tigers start the season 1-0 for the first time since 2004. Congratulations to Holmes on getting his name in the record books. He's very poised for a 14 year old kid.
