Colonial Heights has named Kyle Krupp its new football coach. He’s an alumnus of the school and has been the team’s defensive coordinator the past seven seasons.
His father, Bert, was a longtime football coach at Colonial Heights, spending four years as the head coach and more than 25 as an assistant. When he was a kid, Kyle served as the team’s ball boy for games. During offseason workouts, he’d sit on the blocking sled, and players would push him around the field.
