Last Saturday's UVa/Liberty Game-Curiosity Question

Did anyone actually find and watch this game on TV? I was at the state volleyball match and before leaving I attempted to find it and DVR it but had no luck. A co-worker texted me to claim he had found it on TV and watched it, but when I asked him later, he had no idea what channel he had been on. I then asked a few other people and most people said they looked but could not find it.

So can anyone tell me for sure what station carried it?

On Comcast it was carried as the poster above said, NBC Washington.

It wasn't carried here in Marion at all on Comcast...NBS Washington stuck us with a Caps game.

Here in Martinsville on Comcast HD we have NBC Washington and NBC Washington +. Whichever one that wasnt carrying the Caps game carried the UVA football game. Spent the first 2 hrs flipping back and forth between UVA's bball game on ESPN News and the football game.

Due to your answers I am more confused than ever! The TV listings in the paper said that NBC Sports Washington, which I always got on Comcast and still get on Lumos, would be carrying a hockey game. But I set it to record that channel just in case. But when I got home, it was not on there.

I searched up and down all the channels (I have the maximum that Lumos offers) and it was nowhere to be found. I definitely would have found it because I had been listening on the radio and by the time I got home, there were still five minutes left in the game.

Is there such a thing as NBC Sports Washington +, because sometimes I see that, and I wondered if maybe that was an extra channel (like ESPN 2 or FSI 2) that I don't get, which would have explained it?

Anyway, thanks for all your input. At least I did not miss a close down to the wire game.
