Any of you guys know why he would transfer from a championship level team to team that made first playoff appearance in 5+ years ?

Maybe the transfer has to do with some other part of the family's life. Believe it or not, there are some families who move because of jobs, marriages, etc.

Maybe there is a cute little girl at Indian River he's in love with.

Maybe. It's not the first time a guy left Smith. Daiquan Lawrence, a DB who ended up at Western Branch (c/o' 13) left, as did Levonta Taylor, Ocean Lakes' 5-star CB who was a freshman on the unbeaten jv squad there. Kids leave all the time. Indian River and Oscar Smith are so close in zone proximity though so it makes ya kinda wonder a little. He'll still be successful and Smith will just plug in another good kid into that spot. Wish him nothing but success.
