Well the world will come to a halt. We'll finally get to see private vs public school in the VA playoffs. I expect they'll be a handful 1st rd especially.I spoke with the admission coordinator and heck stated over 10,000 fans here.
Believe it or not I am not that upset because it was a bad night from the startSorry Wikki.
It's okay actually. I will go watch a couple of games and get to watch both state games in a suiteSorry Wikki.
I hope to meet youHopefully we make it there so I can try your famous cooking.
Amherst may still make the playoffs, #9 & #11 lost also. It's okay actually. I will go watch a couple of games and get to watch both state games in a suite
Ok that is what I was thinkingAmherst may still make the playoffs, #9 & #11 lost also.
Post it as soon as you know. I might find out from another person as wellOk that is what I was thinking
They always scheduled up and lost those games for the last 3 years and decided to schedule down this year and had a decent season and it still might keep them out, what a bummer if this is trueWell if my math is correct Amherst will fall to 13th at 24.4 and Liberty Bealton jumps to 12th at 24.6. Losing to a 3A or above school would have had Amherst atleast tied for 12th (3A) and in sole possession of 12th at 4A and higher. Playing down 2 divisions hurt them tonight as they only got 8 pts with the loss. My math could be wrong though.
Wikki I was way off. Why I deleted it. I'll wait and see it's going to be closeThey always scheduled up and lost those games for the last 3 years and decided to schedule down this year and had a decent season and it still might keep them out, what a bummer if this is true
That is true so is it worth it? Probably notIf you squeaked in at 12 like it sounds then you don't really want to see JF in the 2nd week.
But I think the top 4 get a bye so we would play a 12th SeedThat is true so is it worth it? Probably not
#12 plays #5But I think the top 4 get a bye so we would play a 12th Seed

FFE showing Amherst in Wikki! Hopefully they're right. That is what I meant to say, thanks Mike
FFE showing Amherst & LCA in Wikki! So is LCA in?
Not sure Amherst is in yet.FFE showing Amherst & LCA in Wikki!
Well they won't squeak in at 12 bc we were 12th before they won tonight and before seeds 11-9 lostI didn't see the replies above, I was actually talking to the LCA fan. Would make for a nice local game in round 2, though.
Some schools are going to be displeased with the 12 team format. Not sure Amherst is in yet.
Just saying what FFE showed, have no clue if it's accurate. I don't mess with the math on the points. Not sure Amherst is in yet.
A lot of folks were thinking that Woodgrove and Sherando would be tied for 4th place with wins tonight and Sherando would win the tie breaker...
If that pans out the #12 team will be coming to Woodgrove next week.
I'm curious if we knocked our rival Loudoun Valley out of the playoffs tonight?
Good luck to all of the teams scrambling to make playoffs!
I stand corrected. I didn't think LCA could beat a team of Benedictine's caliber given their poor showings against Woodberry, Bishop McNamara and Avalon. Where has this Bulldog team been all year?
Lca over the last six weeks have been playing playing with their backs against the wall and they had to keep throwing punches to stay in the playoff hunt. I think early in the season they got comfortable. Bishop McNamara plays in the same league as Georgetown prep, gonzaga who has been in the top 25 in the nation, and with Dematha who was as high as #2 in the nation and bishop lost to them by 5. So McNamara is a really good team and had too many athletes for lca. The Woodberry and Avalon game, they had to play perfect games and kept shooting them inside in the foot. And I know injuries are part of the game but #80 the wr missed all three games they lost, I'm not saying they win if he play but all three of those teams went 8 in the box and played man and dared lca to throw. Lca has average wrs except for that #80 he's a special player as you can see from last nights game. So with him they get a legit deep threat.
Benedictine would beat any team in the Richmond area. I don't know to many hs teams that have 6 division 1 players on it.
