Getting close, The other thread is a few pages back. No one has said much about this game. This is a very good Lee team coming to town. Lots of folks are coming from all of SWVA I hear. This will be a classic SWVA football game.

I think that this game will be very close...Lee would love a chance to get another shout at Union...I think Union will beat Glenvar...I also think the winner of this game will have it actually easier the next week....just hope my boys come out and give me 48 minutes of their best....all you can hope from your team this time of year.....give 100% and hold your head high win or lose....GO GILES

Thanks you Green Wave1, this game won't be close unless Giles 1st team decides to go to the VT/WF game. Lee struggles to stop decent run teams and I'm fairly confident I can place Giles in a category above decent run team. Giles wins by at least 3/4 TDs..

I think this game will be very close......the folks that think this will be a cakewalk are a lot like the folks from riverheads last night that thought they would win easily....Would love to see a large lead at halftime to settle my emotions but unlike the last several games I don't think the starters will be pulled in this one....gotta stay focused this time of year.....Worries me that our boys have been told that teams were going to be tough....hyped games that turned out to be domination from us....the playoffs change all of that.....Hope the team doesn't listen to some folks that think they are unbeatable.....good to have confidence in your team......just don't get cocky and just stay focused...ONE play at a time....I think this team is as good if not better than last year...but a lack of focus can end the season for a team that's actually better.... GO GILES

Chill out dude...these players know nothing will be easy this time of the year....we saw that last year against appomattox....these players we have that played last year won't let the others listen to the hype of some of the fans....I don't know what's going to happen today but i do know one thing...giles will be ready to play...win or lose i'm proud of this team the way they play the game....just sit back at the horn and relax and enjoy a great game today....GO RED....I mean Giles RED!
