Liberty Bedford and their coaching staff are doing a great job developing quarterbacks. Last year, they had a Senior QB go to Staunton River, and a sophomore(currently a JR) QB go to JF. They put the Linebacker #2 Schaffer at QB, he gets hurt and has to play with a club on his hand, then places the wide receiver Elroumy at QB to finish the season. They had a freshman on JV that they didn't rush to Varsity. He was clearly a good quarterback.
This year they have two good quarterbacks and they both have at least 500+ passing yards on the season. The Senior Elroumy is the starter, and he is doing very well running the offense and leading the team, but they put the Sophomore (Hensley) in also and He can light it up. Hensley was 13-18 for 232 yards and threw 4 touchdown passes this past Friday against Amherst.
Just a good story to hear from a team that had been down the past 2 years.
