Life Christian in the news

Multiple levels of stupidity in this one. The kid wasn't even kicked off the team, they literally just sent him home an hour or so early, and the response of the for sure mentally stable parent was "attempt to stab the coach just kidding stab kids instead". Now his son's expelled from the school and even if he graduates, dear old dad won't be around to witness it.

That assistant coach better take those kids out to a steak dinner when they get out of the hospital.

Nothing can justify the family’s violent reaction. I’m just curious what on earth could have been said that prompted them to get violent like that. Again, NOTHING can be said that JUSTIFIES the violent reaction, but I’m curious why that family chose that reaction.

I saw on the news last night that a family member of the suspect said that the parent didn’t attack the kids. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty but I hope they make an example out of this father if he’s found guilty.

Most kids*. Someone who works in the school system here, A LOT of times, parents are what drives great educators out of education. No more accountability and respect being taught at home. Sad times brother.
I blame the self-esteem movement and the everyone gets a trophy attitude. There are winners in this world, and there are losers. Learn how to deal with being both of them.

And you can be a winner one day and a loser the next, depending on your actions!
And a lot of the time winning is out of your control. Kids need to learn that sometimes you do your best and it isn't enough. But that you should always do your best and then be at peace with the results. Kids don't understand that life isn't always fair. I don't know if I did at their age either, but I certainly learned it as an adult.

The kid handled the discipline fine, he went home as instructed. The person who didn't handle the discipline was the parent, the grown adult who stabbed two children in retaliation. Ask any ref in any HS sport, parents and coaches are 99% of their problem, the kids are 1%. There aren't signs at ballparks reminding kids not to yell at umps for bad calls, they're there to remind parents.

The adult nearly killed a bunch of people, not the literal child, focus on why the adult nearly killed a bunch of people.

The "adult" is an idiot. That's why. Plain and simple. He's an idiot.
