Martinsville's new coach

Sounds like a good hire and hopefully it is received well by the community. Could have a pretty good team this year.
Resume looks solid as a player. One glaring thing seems to be a lack of actual coaching experience, but I guess we shall see. One thing you could almost guarantee in 60+ years of Martinsville basketball is that the guy on the sidelines was rarely gonna get outcoached. Graduation hit the Dogs somewhat hard, but the JV team has been above average the last few seasons - plus I know of at least 2 solid players that are new (or returning) to the program.

With Mel Cartwright, Husky Hall, Troy Wells roaming the sidelines and then most recently Kelvin Jackson and Jeff Adkins the Dogs weren't going to be out coached very often, especially with the first 3.
