Junior Shortstop Brian Bashara will be starting his 3rd year on varsity at Maury High School. He was second team All-Eastern district last year with a batting average over .450.
During the summer, he played with Post 60 Legion, the Virginia Aces, as well as with Wiley Lee in his wood bat summer league and also with summer college play with the Blasters. Some of the showcases Brian attended are the Blue Grey at Wake Forest and Best in Virginia at Hampton Sydney. This summer he is looking forward to playing with the Tidewater Orioles as well as other previous opportunities.
