The fact that he got another 10 day contract for sure points to injury, covid stuff, players out, but there is a lot of players other than McClung that the Bulls might have picked. The fact the the Bulls picked him to another 10 day contract tells me the obvious. He's doing very well in practice. It likely points out that he is competing in practice and doing well and has the confidence of the coaches that he can certainly play and compete. It's a very, very good sign that McClung got another contract and I think it speaks more to his ability in practice than it does the amount of players out with Covid and injuries; afterall, they could have picked a bunch of other players for a 10 day contract. He got picked for a reason, and that reason is what the coaches are seeing everyday in practice.
