He gonna have to wait, the right qb played 2nd half, should be 2 more years with Roberts at qb period. No more questions.
Proud of the Dogs. That " two dozen" gave all they had but were running on fumes at the end. Good luck to MV in the playoffs.
That comment wasnt a knock on martinsville. It was more of a knock on mv because they couldnt move the ball on a team thats pretty much playing on both sides of the ball. Like i said earlier thats prob a shut out for the bulldogs if they didnt make that qb change.

Yea they have nothing to hang their head about.. that 99 yrd drive in the 3rd ate the whole quarter up.. they got gassed because the offense started moving and picking up 1st downs.
I was impressed with Martinsville and the new coach. If he can get a few more kids to buy into the program, they could be very dangerous in the years to come. Not sure how many graduate but it appears he has the program moving in the right direction.
As for MV, if I’m Favero, I’d roll with Roberts at QB. The offense just appears to be much more fluid with him behind the center. I had high hopes for Greenfield this year. Not sure what happened.

Roberts should be under center for the remainder of this season. Roberts was able to move the ball and puts points up on the board. The starting QB didn't show any emotions the entire game, I don't know if he was sick or what. The offense seemed more in tune with Roberts back there and it showed. MV defense needs to tighten up a little more as well they gave up a 99 yard TD drive for a score. I don't know if they were tired or what for being on the field for so long but going into the playoff they cant afford to let that happen against a good football team.
Mayberryite - the MV JV team does have a pretty good qb coming. I have seen him play a time or 2, if he can get stronger and faster this summer he will be something to look out for in the up coming years.
