Good game. Mv had several chances to go up by 2 scores but just couldnt get over that hump.. DR came out of half running with force and made plays when they needed to be made.. hats off to DR they have a good football team, and i could see them making some noise in 2A this year..

i said all along, DR is no punk this year. that lil RB Hunt with the dreads is NICE!
Not sure if its the same kid, but one of the key plays on 4th down MV had him wrapped up for about a 5 yard loss, he broke loose and gained about 15 or 20.. MV would have got the ball near midfield, instead DR went up by 1 td.. a few key plays end up costing in close games. MV was without Jason Scales due to injury, but i dont think that one person made the difference in the ballgame.. i think DR and appo you will get your moneys worth.. DR d line looked a little winded as the game went on, but damn it was HOT in ringgold!

prob was same kid. he has long dreads and about 5'7". he tucks them in uniform so u cant see em. been watching that kid play since 8th grade. he nice!

It wasn't Hunt this time, it was seniors Jaquon Durant and Zemar Anderson that led DR in rushing, as Hunt left the game due to injury. Durant had 116 yards rushing, including two runs where he had to cut back and reverse field. Anderson's insertion at QB sparked the Wildcats offense as he threw for just under 100 yards & 1 TD while rushing for 82 yards & 2 TDs, all while still playing hard on defense at defensive end.

Friday's game was a slug fest, even when DR pushed the lead to 36-14, I knew the game wasn't over & that's when the Warriors had their own Kickoff return to make it 36-21
