There was much chaos in the Top 25 this week. The top 5 teams remained the same because none of them lost, but from there it was bedlam. Formerly #6 Smithfield dropped two games in a row, to #4 Jamestown and now #8 Heritage-Newport News. The Packers fell all the way to #16. William Fleming and Heritage-Leesburg each moved up a spot because of this. King's Fork re-entered the Top 10. Charlottesville won three games this week, beating Fluvanna, Waynesboro, and top 5 in 3A Western Albemarle. The Black Knight's shot up to #12 after that strong week. Amherst County and Liberty Christian square off tonight, in a battle of #13 and #14 in a Conference 23 battle. Freedom-South Riding avenged their loss to John Champe this week and is now #15. Hugenot and Monacan both took major blows this week, falling to #20 and #17 respectively. Kettle Run also fell considerably yo #21 after their loss to Champe. EC Glass, Louisa County, and Pulaski County are looking to make noise as underdogs in their Conferences.

You've had good posts all season. I will say though, Louisa isn't that big of a underdog in Conference 19. They've taken a few bad L's early and have bounced back quite well. The Jefferson District is tough and there may not be a team as good in 4A as Albemarle. Game 2 with them were a close one by 3 points headed into to 4th. My biggest concern with the Lions is there inexperience. Six roster spots are held by first year varsity players.
