Honorable Mention: Louisa County, Freedom (South Riding)

Defending State Champion Monacan fell from the #2 spot this week after losing their first game of the year, 60-38 to a .500 James River squad. That loss puts the Chiefs at #10. Smithfield leapfrogged King's Fork for #6. Amherst County and Kettle Run continue to roll on in their surprise seasons. Eastern View rises back up to #16 this week. Louisa County falls out of the Top 25 after dropping yet another game to Western Albemarle. Deep Creek and Harrisonburg enter the Top 25 this week.

Monacan has a bunch of tough games coming up (bird 2x) and a few others. We have the type of team that can beat almost anyone and can lose to a JR. Basically same as last year. Just hope we can be playing our best ball come regionals. I think if we are playing our best ball we are a tough out.
