This is just how I feel these teams should be ranked based on what's happened so far. I don't feel Rapp is a #6 team but right now that's where I have them. Strange things are happening which is why you play the games. Rapp pretty much handles WP although the Pointers made it kinda interesting in the 3rd quarter. Then WP beats CB by a TD while holding CB scoreless on offense. Then CB beats Rapp by 2!

I consider the Essex @ Colonial Beach, a trap game for Essex. Can’t go in playing flat or taking CB lightly. The Beach will sneak up on ya if you do.

@deffenbaugh, are you saying Rapp was looking past CB a little? Just asking so I can get a better read on what's going on out East. There have been a couple of headscratchers so its even more confusing for an outsider than the normal competitive region it is known for.

I think so. After the loss to W&L i think they looked at the next 3 games as the "soft" part of their schedule and probably circled and maybe even started preparing for the last couple of games.

Considering Mathews and Lancaster in the mix and the common opponent West Point I can understand that a little bit, but that bunch up by the Potomac is always a tough out.

Thats why you can't start peeking too far down the road. Sometimes I think programs might be better off if they only knew the schedule a week at a time and were forced to focus on the game at hand.

Fair enough, and I happen to agree that teams sometimes overlook opponents. You can see it in the effort plays early on and honestly most teams don't recover. If you have taken someone lightly, once BIG MO gets on their side its too late. Thanks for the reply.
