This is as of right now. Of course this isn't accounting for any transfers coming or going. As always, just my two cents

1. Luray- Class 2 state semifinalist this year. Brings back elite shooter Matthew Owens who put up 26 against John Marshall.
2. Northumberland- Returns nearly the entire team, led by all state player, Tyreek Lundy
3. Patrick Henry- Lose Cole Caywood, but returns Cade Caywood and 4 other key contributors
4. Fort Chiswell- Returns dynamite freshman Owen Jackson, among others.
5. Lancaster- Return JaMarcus Russell and several others from this year's final 4 team
6. Parry McCluer- Langston Cook comes back, as does several other role players
7. Grundy- Brings back the bulk of this year's team in what will be the final year of the school before consolidation
8. Northampton- Had 2 freshmen average double figures this year, plus a sophomore who averaged 7 points and 7 boards. Very young team
9. Altavista- Always are in the mix in Region B. Only lose two seniors
10. George Wythe- Defending champs will lose 10 seniors, but do bring back David Goode, who can score in bunches.

HM: Brunswick, Narrows, Cumberland, Auburn, Eastside

Coach Dameron always seems to have tough teams
It’s a good program up there, and that area has always had some good talent, the Coeburn/St Paul/Castlewood area has had some legit ballers. I know Castlewood is still open I just mean the area in general. Damron seems to be in it for the long run too, he came up just short a few years ago against a very good Lancaster team so it wouldn’t shock me to see him continue to be a factor every 4-5 years.

Been some freaks come from out of there. Castlewoods Calvon Talford, one of the best I've ever seen in HS Hoops in any state. Guy was unbelievable. Glenn Roberts, Coeburn, far SWVAs first to play professionally.
