Senior Noah Giles rushed for 278 yards and three touchdowns to lead Nansemond-Suffolk to a 54-28 road win over North Cross. The Saints high powered rushing attack grinded out 516 rushing yards on 59 rushing attempts.
Nansemond-Suffolk trailed 20-16 with 9:35 to go in the 2nd quarter before running off 38 unanswered points to blow the game open. The Saints did not allow another touchdown after falling behind until Jordan Lowery returned a kickoff 72-yards for a Raiders touchdown with 9:44 remaining in the game.
