Narrows @ Bland County cancelled

Hope Bland’s team hasn’t had to fold due to numbers. They had a jamboree with Roanoke Catholic and some other teams and with injuries I think they were down to around 18 or 19 kids. Their coaches seemed enthusiastic and the kids played hard but with those numbers you’re only 1 or 2 kids away from not being viable.

It is being said now that it is because of lack of enough healthy players for Bland Co. Nothing said about their season as a whole thankfully, though.

Auburn/Craig Co cancelled as well. Sounded like it was on Craig’s end

well if thats the case with bland, now every week teams will have to worry if they will play or not? not fair to them. maybe they should fold now let seniors transfer out and let teams find solid games.
