Limit of 250 now up to 1,000 for attendance (30% of capacity). I’m awaiting word how this changes this weekends games.

I read 1000 for outdoor entertainment, and stil 250 for outdoor school sports.
This guy is an idiot. What’s the difference in outdoor entertainment and outdoor school sports? This is what I got:
“Entertainment venues right now are capped at 30% capacity or 250 people, whichever is lower. That limit will remain the same for indoor venues, but limits for outdoor venues will go up to 1,000 people or 30%, whichever is lower.”
If a stadium holds 3000 fans, 900 fans should be able to attend the game with this new policy as it should.
I have only read what wset posted here in the burg. Im anxious to see the exact official wording and not an interpretation.
VHSL tweeted out confirmation that HS football is still capped at 250 spectators.
This us what I would expect from the VHSL and the nonsense that goes on in this state. A huge difference in attendance for outside “entertainment “ and outside “recreational sports”. No other state made this ridiculous distinction that I’m aware of. I really fed up with the whole situation and to be honest the whole crappy restrictions we have had since March.
It's not the VHSL, it's orders from the Govenor. Once again, the VHSL has NO authority to regulate attendance.

If the VHSL cannot influence the Governor with reasonable restrictions they should all resign and take a different position . Don’t absolve this group from any influence , that’s ridiculous.
The VHSL has been lobbying for higher attendance. The VHSL cannot dictate to the governor. I would like the governor to explain the difference between high school sports and other outdoor entertainment.
You wrongly believe that the VHSL is in someway important to the Govenor. The VHSL is all but irrelevant to the Govenor. The VHSL can not influence any voting block, so they have no value to the Govenor. The VHSL is nothing more than another organization that the govenor's staff has to pretend like they are listening to. It's as simple as that.

I guess this is what happens when a third rate Pediatrician from the very dismal Eastern Shore becomes a Governor of 8.4 million people.
Now, this is a statement I'm in complete agreement with.
Actually he has saved may children and wounded soldiers. The third rate doctors are in SWVA.
