Great game by the Indians. Timely hitting and pitching put the Indians over the pointers 7 to 5. For coach Johnny Mothershead this is regional title number two in four years. Indians will face Lunenburg Tuesday at home. The Pointers will make the travel to Staunton to face region B champ Riverheads. Good luck to my Indians bring it home to the nnk.

Rappahannock softball also won the region A softball crown over Windsor 1 to 0. Could it be deja Vu of 2014 as that was the year Northumberland and Rappahannock won states. Good to the nnk teams
