Glenvar proves, last week was not a enough. May make the trip next week to watch them try and win it all. It makes you feel a little better that the team that beats you, is still winning. CONGRAT'S TO THE HIGHLANDERS.

Congrats to them. However they have lucked out the last two weeks on field conditions holding speed teams down. Next week on the turf it won't matter. Should be a good game

Dude luck? When you beat a team 30 plus on their field. Giles has never had speed . Ain't a Glenvar.man but they earned it

I would call u stupid but not point. I was the first person who who got on here and said glenver dominated last week but also the nasty field conditions have helped them out last few weeks. Would have still won both games. I'd say ask any of Giles opponents if they had speed.

I didn't watch the game at Giles last week, BUT did both teams play on the same field?

Fort has a point

Giles has no excuses. They got their butts whipped, fair and square. The playing field was garbage, but they both played on it. If it didn't suit Giles's style, they should have done something different.

Re: Fort has a point

Huh???? I didn't see anything wrong with the field at Giles last week and it was a beautiful sunny, warm day. Today was another story which should have favored Nottoway and their defense but they still couldn't stop Glenvar's offense after the first quarter. Glenvar burned the clock in the 4th or the score could have easily been in the 40's.

Re: Fort has a point

Ha wow, two different styles and most of u know this. Give me a break. Good luck next week. I'll respond no more to this. In no way was it a negative to glenver and their win

Re: Fort has a point

The middle of Stephen C. Ragsdale Field last week was in terrible shape. It wasn't as much of a problem for our backs as it was our linemen. They were hitting their knees everytime they came out of their stance. Good blocking is vital to Giles' success.

Again, Giles has no excuses. In fact, Giles should have known more about the sad state of the field than Glenvar. I'll be cheering for Glenvar next week. If they are as prepared for Wilson as they were for Giles, they will be champs. Wilson is big, deep, and has some really excellent DBs, so it's a bad matchup for Glenvar, but I like the Highlanders' chances.

Re: Fort has a point

Glenvar should be the underdog against WM. I never did understand why so many Giles faithful picked Nottoway and that is why I hammered home the point all week. I was pretty certain it would come out like it did.

With WM I have no idea yet what the matchups are so no predictions from me yet. We will have a big home crowd at Salem Stadium including a lot of Salem fans who will be there to support before heading over to their game which is later.

Don't post much anymore. Seems when fort or me post everybody thinks we're stupid. Maybe we'll get smart over the winter. t
