You are more than likely right about all of that but you do know Gaffney has won 17 state championships in South Carolina? They are always apart of the state championship talk. I know nothing about Nation Ford but I do know about that corridor of SC with Gaffney, Dorman, Byrnes, TL Hanna.. They’re always good. College level facilities and their head coaches bring in about $80k annually, which is probably $10-15k less than places like Dutch Fork, Myrtle Beach, Dillion… Big time high school football.

Gaffney is a solid program and I judged that Nation Ford (I know absolutely nothing about them) must be pretty solid to play them close. Gaffney went 6-1 this year and was one of the top teams in SC before losing to Hanna (the state runner up) in the state playoff. Get out of your feelings.

He set the public school record for longest winning streak at Independence in Charlotte. Gaffney has won a lot of titles, but Dutch Fork will likely be the favorite every year as long as Knotts is there.

He tried to use a game against Gaffney to legitimize the scheduling against Nation Ford (which finished 4-6 btw) and this is like saying because someone played Salem close that means they're a really good program. He flat out admitted he knew nothing about NF but was desperately trying to validate them as a quality, top notch opponent for GW when the reality is they're Franklin County not Oscar Smith. He used one, literally one, close game they played against a good team (I also never called Gaffney a trash program btw) as his basis for everything and if your n=1 that deserves to be mocked every single time. It was terrible, dumb, sixth-grade levels of specious reasoning.

FCS and DII/DIII throw their hats in the ring around now anyway, they have to wait and let the dust settle from early signing day in FBS before they know where to focus their efforts. Kid could end up with many offers over the next six weeks.
