Like I said elsewhere, that pick was working off a 14 point spread. Nice win for GW and my take was GW ran the ball instead of getting cute. I wish them well. We have gone and forth enough over the years that you know where I stand.

Yup, I’m just poking fun at you! I’m happy to see them run the ball as well. You called it a long time ago that GW needed to beef up in the trenches and prioritize the fundamentals (tackling, playing assignment football, etc). Long season ahead but definitely good to see them playing good football so far this season.

Any win in Lynchburg is a good win from the GW perspective. That was not the same Glass team that showed up at LB and PH. Not minimizing the GW win, just commenting on Glass and a seemingly growing trend of inconsistency among VaHS football teams. There are always exceptions but, early on this year seems more volatile.
