This is a game that holds alot of cards going into the second season. If PM wins which I think they are very capable of doing it could mix things up a bit. Galax is going to be the 1 seed no matter what cause they will win tonight. But Narrows could drop if PM pulls of the upset here. What's everyone's thoughts on this game?

Narz is clearly in that second tier of teams just below the "X" teams and Riverheads. PM hasn't shown that they are at that level this year. I just don't think they are going into the game with a lot of confidence. Someone mentioned that they have gotten some injured players healthy. We'll see if that makes enough of a difference.

Only reason phone shouldnt work is if it gets drowned. Given the weather right now, that's a possibility.

My thoughts are simple: If Narrows holds Dawson under a 100 and wins the LOS, they win by 10+. Senior night for the big boys up front should have em ready to go.

Rack 'em up, sack 'em up.

Stuck at work and listening on radio. Sounds as if the officials are having a hard time keeping control of the game. Seems like a recurring theme with PM games.

This has to be the most undisciplined team I've ever seen at PM in my life. Personal fouls, unsportsmanlike conduct, shoving other payers, a coach screaming like a idiot. I thot the paper the kids had to sign would help. They need one for the coaches. I rode 2.5 hours to see this joke. PM administration should do something. I'm ashamed to be a PM fan.

it has been very ugly game on PM's part, it is sad because it's not the whole team.

I don't know much about PM since I haven't been able to make many games or keep up this year. With that said, McCluer's RB was a LOAD in the first half. I wouldn't say that PM plays dirty, but they played an aggressive football game all the way up until the whistle (and sometimes just past the whistle). Can't fault the kids for that....that how you play. It just seemed like PM gave everything they had in the first half.....and were still down 11. Second half, with a few adjustments, McKinney had lots of daylight to run the ball.

It's gonna be interesting to see an old MED matchup between Narrows and Galax for the region (assuming that both teams take care of business).

My bad... I must have mistaken it for a penalty flag!!! Thanks for the correction!
On a serious note, PM's coach needs to address the penalties. I'm not one to blame everything on the coach, especially in his first year, but I think PM has a real problem right now. They don't seem to be getting better, just sinking further into despair and frustration.

I hear what you are saying but I want to point out that RE Lee had that kind of undisciplined reputation right or wrong until Coach G. He stayed the course and instilled a culture change that is reaping fruits now. Not saying the coaches at PM can or will be able to do that but that kind of thing takes a little time.

It was a close first half the score was 14-10 and both teams had two or three chances, then before half PM converted a 3rd and 31 to the 25, several flags and three plays later a punt snap went wild and the ball was on the other end of field 18 yard line with 47 seconds left in half. Narrows scored

That might have been one of the most confounding series I've seen in a while. Parry McCluer went from potentially leading by 3 to down 11 in the span of a few minutes. The conversion of the 3rd and 31 had me convinced PM would score and carry the momentum out of the locker room in the 2nd half.

Excellent point. I watched Lee-Draft tonight and Lee is a completely different team than last year. I actually think they were more talented last year, but they lacked focus and weren't sure of themselves. This year, they are executing and making fewer mistakes. Coach G is doing a hell of a job. On the flip side, Draft hurt themselves penalties, really dumb ones too.

Yes they did.... And it was great pass and an even better reception!! HOWEVER, THE REF(STANDING RIGHT THERE, BEHIND THE QB)DID NOT CALL AN OBVIOUS HOLD ON THE GREEN WAVE TACKLE AGAINST PM's #67... It was a great rush off the right edge and the Waves' O lineman was clearly beaten.. Not sure how/why he didn't call it but he didn't... Great play but should have been nullified!! It happens...

I had saw some tape on 67 coming into this game and thought they might have there hands full but it was kinda of a let down that he wasn't a bigger factor and he didn't play nearly as much in the 2nd half dont know if he was hurt or what if so hope he gets healed up
