Parry McCluer senior thrower Josh Fischer placed 1st in both field events today, April 5th, at the Augusta County Meet held at Riverheads High School..
Fischer's best mark in the Shot-Put came on his final heave of the day as he bested his previous "PR" of 56'-2", which he set last week in Lynchburg by 2-1/4", finishing with a NEW "PR" of 56'- 4-1/4"...
Fischer also took the 1st Place spot in the Discus event with a spin of the disc coming at 137' and some change, several feet off his "PR" which he also set last week but well ahead of the competition...
Congratulations again Josh and to the PM Coaching Staff for a job well done and best wishes next week in Radford at the Radford Relays..
